How herbs can help

Herbal medicine can help to treat almost anything, as treatment is focussed on the person rather than on the illness. Instead of targeting specific diseases, herbs work by supporting a person’s physiology during disease and promoting self-healing mechanisms.

Please browse the drop-down menu for examples of specific conditions in each body system where herbal medicine can be beneficial. Typical preparations include tinctures (alcohol-based extracts), teas, oils, creams, pessaries and suppositories.
